MTV 2007 VMA Nominees Announced

MTV announced their nominees for the 2007 VMAs yesterday and the list isn't particularly surprising. There are a few indie darlings in here--like White Stripes, Amy Winehouse, and Justice--but mostly it's just the same old, same old. There are those who might say that MTV is on the decline and is slowly being taken over by crap. To those people, I say, "No, I'm pretty sure it was always crap."

Except maybe once, in 1983. For twenty minutes.
